Tokyo, Japan June 25 th, 2016 – Floadia Corporation (Floadia), a leading provider of embedded flash semiconductor intellectual property (IP), has been selected as one of the Innovation Showcase Companies for 2016, which are young, rapidly growing companies founded in Japan around exciting technologies and highly innovative business ideas that have the potential for major worldwide impact. Innovation Showcase Companies are firms that show outstanding promise and are beginning to gain international traction.

About Floadia Corporation

Floadia was established in 2011 and a spin-out of experienced engineers who were developing embedded non-volatile memory at Hitachi/Renesas for more than 20 years. Floadia licenses its intellectual property (IP), including manufacturing process and circuit designs, necessary for the embedded memory production. Floadia’s development team comprises not only circuit designers but also engineers with expertise in the manufacturing process. Currently Floadia has over 85 patents, filed and pending.
